Team and Role Overview
Adenza is seeking a Front-Office Consultant to work in a customer‐facing role to drive global system implementations. Our well-established team is charged with providing expert customer delivery to our major clients. The team is comprised of functional and technical experts covering the front, middle, and back-office.
Responsibilities
Work directly with customers to gather, scope, and understand business requirements, and influence them towards our best practice solutions.
Work hands-on to design, configure, and test the system to ensure that it meets the business requirements wherever there is a deviation from our out-of-the-box solution.
Follow up with the client’s end-users to validate the solution delivered, achieve signoff, and continue to support various phases such as SIT, UAT, Migration activities, and move the system toward go-live.
Identify and raise approved core product gaps and follow up through our internal process until delivery.
Work with the Product team or Project technical team during the development of enhancements to iteratively test and ensure they meet business requirements.
Assist in deployment and validation by the Client.
Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality.
Skills and Requirements
Experience working with a software vendor in a Business Analysis role or as a functional back-office user within the capital markets industry.
Expertise in the support and/or implementation of Front Office Requirements: detailed hands‐on knowledge about industry-standard front office standards for market data management (bootstrapping algorithm), trade capture, pricing (Black‐Scholes, Cox‐Ross), and risk (Monte Carlo, VAR).
Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
Strong knowledge and functional experience in support of one or more of the following Asset classes: Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income and Money Market (FI/MM), Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Derivatives (FXD), Credit Derivatives, Equities, and Equity Derivatives, Commodities and Commodity Derivatives. Candidates with exposure to Clearing, Collateral & Securities Finance will also be considered.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75%), as required.
Our office
Adenza Mumbai is located on the 2nd floor of the Ackruti Center Point building. We’re very close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and Five Star hotels. We have excellent transport links nearby, including Andheri Metro and railway station. Restaurants like China Gate, Box, and Tunga International are just opposite of our building. We have two large offices on the 2nd floor and our cafeteria is modern with a coffee vending machine, coffee/tea/snacks are always available as well games like Carrom, Foosball, Chess, Table Tennis, etc. Two boxes of fresh fruit are delivered once a week.
