Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for Experienced Asset Management Analyst to join their team in Bangalore, India.
Position Description:
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for implementing and managing meaningfully consistent cross-regional IT Int’l asset management processes and tools.
As empowered by the IT Int’l Operations Management Team, the AMA coordinates and directs IT Int’l colleagues in order to:
Act as a liaison and provide reach back support to/from international regions and to enterprise and regional functions (e.g. IT Finance, BU Finance, local entity finance, SSG Business Management, etc.) to ensure appropriate process coordination and to provide necessary trainings to the asset management community.Develop and maintain cross-regional IT asset management support tools and processes and ensure compliance to Boeing policy and standards as well as local law and regulations.Review processes, tools and procedures periodically. Conduct or participate in process design reviews and create recommendations in response to requests for process changes.Ensure all processes in area of responsibility , tools and procedures are documented and documentation is available/accessible and up to dateWork collaboratively with functional leads, subject matter experts and stakeholders (e.g. IT Finance, Business Unit Finance, ITI and SSG) to ensure effective execution of asset management processes and use of tools by the regional operations teams.Coordinate cross-functional (beyond IT Int’l Operations) asset management activities as required.Provide consulting support and conduct process and tool related trainings as necessary. Establish and communicate asset management training requirements to the IT International Operations management team.Lead all asset management related cross-regional functional forums and meetings.Design standard IT asset management reports and related training to enable the Regional Operations teams to efficiently maintain assets under controlResearch, acquire, consolidate and analyze data necessary to create ad hoc IT Asset Management reports (e.g. input for budget planning, LRBP, etc)
The AMA reports to Global Service Delivery Manager (GSDM). In order to provide functional asset management leadership to IT International Operations staff and asset management support to the IT International Operations management team, the AMA interacts with
functional leads, Service Fulfillment Analysts, Technicians, enterprise partners and suppliers (e.g. Finance organizations, IT Infrastructure, Supplier Management and International Business Management).
Occasional business travel may be expected to other global sites, as driven by business needs.
Significant flexibility is expected as off-hours activity will be needed to coordinate with a geographically dispersed team.
Competencies:
Good knowledge of the (ideally Boeing specific) IT asset management best practices, issues and processes, backed by demonstrable relevant work experience.Outstanding analytical, process analysis and reporting skills, backed by demonstrable relevant work experience.Autonomous, proactive, self driven, deliverable-focused, organized and structured attitude is absolutely essential.Good technical writing skills with the ability to document procedures and processes in a precise, complete, effective and unambiguous way.Above average proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access. Practical knowledge of Business Intelligence / reporting tools highly desirable.Basic software development and process automation skills highly desirableGood communication skills to effectively gather process definition needs and translate them into practical solutions.Sensitivity for cultural differences and significant global acumen to effectively collaborate with a globally dispersed team.Service Now experience is a plus.
Education/experience:
At least three years of working experience needed.IT / Technical or Finance education background.Previous IT asset management work experience desirable.LEAN/Value Stream Mapping and ITIL experience desirable.Previous experience working in a global IT team highly desirable
