Introduction:
To manage Treasury application & infrastructure production support team for Treasury’s Funding & Liquidity suite of applications from Pune and ensure that the complex support requirements are fulfilled with more interactions with various Development teams, Business analysts and RTB team across globe.
As per future expectations on FLM journey towards UK reform and SLP program requirements, this role helps in providing right level of support for migration of Legacy applications on cost effective solutions.
What will you be doing?
Subject Matter Expert in Production Support for live systems.
Maintain and improve application and software support methods, standards, KPI’s and SLA’s across all ITS supported applications and software.
Provide clear ownership and resolution of incidents/faults logged against applications/systems supported by the Application Support team to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
Ensure completeness of root cause for major/critical incidents, and where possible resolve or provide workarounds, suggestions and improvements to mitigate future incidents.
Provide assistance to the Applications Development team with testing and deployment of application/software changes/releases through the formal change management processes.
Participate in the process of integrating and releasing new application/software functionality into ‘business-as-usual’ environment, ensuring all service acceptance and operational deliverables have been successfully developed and agreed prior to handover.
Manage requests for IT application/system access, ensuring full compliance to agreed SLA’s, security policies and procedures.
Proactively monitor applications/systems to capture potential issues (e.g. alerts, performance) before they occur, in accordance with monitoring/maintenance procedures.
Participate in service operational reviews, ensuring SLA, KPI and other data/information is provided to assist with such reviews.
Continually review the service provided to end-users and customers to ensure it meets agreed service levels and all customers’ requirements, though, e.g. liaising with stakeholders, conducting customer satisfaction surveys and electronic monitoring. Identify improvements to the service provided.
Bring to the attention of managers any matters relating to the health and safety of both staff and customers
What we’re looking for:
Graduate / Post graduate degree in Computer Science, or related fields. Primarily Run The Bank roles in financial institutions, consulting or technology companies.
Strong expertise in day-to-day RTB functions with Hands-on/technical experience (high proficiency in Windows, Unix, Autosys Scheduler, MQ/Solace Messaging, Big data concepts especially Hadoop and database technologies primarily in Investment Banking domain
Maintain knowledge base of known defects and issues, processes and support techniques.
Decision making and problem solving, Ability to understand the business context and respond to users.
Ability to work under pressure, work on multiple tasks simultaneously and continue to support users and applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to facilitate cross-functional cooperation across senior stakeholders.
Experience in ITIL Service Delivery and Support, preferably with a formal ITIL qualification (or their equivalents outside of the ITIL framework)
Candidate must also display a willingness to embrace new technologies due to the different systems they will need to support.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Investment Banking background (2+ years guideline)
Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment with an ability to work in a virtual team
Well organized with excellent time management, able to work in a pressurized environment
Ability to understand the business context and respond to users is more important over the in-depth technology skills
Service oriented and able to follow the processes in delivering the KPIs
