To lead the development of BFA Configuration team.
To liaise with Configuration Designer to ensure guidelines are adhered to.
To lead releases in Configuration area by ensuring all pre-requisite for the releases are met.
To liaise with Application Interface teams for data in-flow and out-flow.
To lead process automation in Configuration area, thereby driving ‘Capacity Creation’ agenda
Working with key stakeholders and colleagues in India as well as UK to ensure goals are understood, the protocols are adhered to, and strong engineering capability delivered.
Working as part of a team, encourage innovation & best practices.
Problem solving with alternative approaches and in consultation with stakeholders
What will you be doing?
Working closely with key stakeholders in understanding the business and technical requirements and then drafting the detailed plan for design and development.
Working closely with program to provide update on design and development. Raise issues and risks on timely basis.
Interact with testing team for functional and non-functional validation.
Interact with operations team for user testing and/or business validation
Manage day to day delivery of technical developments to agreed dates and ensuring all governance and performance measures and standards are adhered to.
Impact assessment of unit of work and software code deliverables.
Effective stakeholder communication
Configuration review and setting up standards around it.
Mentor junior colleagues and guide them in coding and unit test case writing.
Support quality gates to ensure changes make it to production successfully.
Work within team (permanent as well as SI partner) to deliver team objectives.
What we’re looking for:
Thorough knowledge of collection and recovery systems, collection strategy, contact strategy
Working experience on FICO Debt Manager 11 – Setting up Configuration Rules, Unit Testing, Supporting System and Integration & User Acceptance Testing, Live Implementation and live proving support.
The candidate should be well versed with collection and recovery system, operational process and user interface used by operational colleagues
Good understanding of data requirement for execution of any collection strategy or contact strategy
Strong knowledge of Plan, Hold, Exceptions, Arrangements, Plan monitoring process in collection systems
Strong Knowledge of Data interfaces with various collection and recovery systems, including upstream and downstream system – mainframe or client server applications
Strong knowledge of Debt Management Companies and Debt Collection Agencies, data interfaces with third parties
A thorough knowledge and practical experience of managing database development through the entire development lifecycle. Demonstrate ability of analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
Knowledge and experience of more than one recognized development methodology e.g. agile or waterfall
Knowledge of configuration management tools & processes such as GIT
Proven ability to analyse and document specific projects’ business requirements and can describe alternative problem-solving approaches and their optimal uses
Proven project management skills – experienced with planning, estimating, organising, and managing multiple projects; had monitored and dealt with critical paths and risks areas
Can identify business satisfaction gaps through regular communication and participates in negotiations
Understands the technologies involved, current IT developments and industry direction. Have a broad knowledge of IT and an excellent understanding of how technology impacts on other business functions.
