Job Responsibilities
Create departmental and fleet expense and capital budgets, to submit for approval to management. Track performance versus forecast on a monthly (or other) basis.
Create/ update fleet policy and procedures, to include vehicle assignment, personal use, replacement policy, accident reporting process and other procedures.
Keep track of vehicles allocated to drivers, maintain income and expenses of each vehicle.
Manage, assign and track use of pool vehicles as required. Ensure validity of lifting appliances, tools and equipment.
Identify and deal with any potential discrepancy issues. Review staffing requirements and raise manpower requests as necessary that includes any vacancy arising from resignment of drivers/ operations.
Develop, maintain and adhere to disciplinary procedures, driver orientation programs. Introduce a staff training program to ensure personnel are adequately trained for the tasks they are due to perform.
Keep up to date with any technical changes with the industry. Assist in interviewing, training, performance evaluation, promotion and terminating activities after obtaining necessary approval from Top Management and Human Resource Management.
Ensure the fleet conforms to all health and safety regulations to minimise any danger or accidents.
Able to interact with clients’ teams and build long term relationships.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, program management, business or public administration, logistics or any similar field
Requirements
1+ years of experience in management, operations and leadership.
2-4 years with an Employee Transport Service/Business Transport Service or in a similar field.
Solid understanding of financial management.
1+ years logistics or general transportation experience
Strong computer skills required
