Kindly note that this opportunity is for 1 year fixed term employment.
This position is primarily to support HR Country Management function reporting to Director, HR Country Management (India).
HR Country Management function in India covers HR administration and operations, employee documentation, benefits administration, HR metrics and analysis, labor compliance, HR policies and processes implementation, Employee relations and engagement.
Key Responsibilities and deliverables: Few of the key responsibilities / activities that this position is expected to work on:
End to end HR processes related to the employee lifecycleEmployee onboarding, joining formalities, processing letters,Systematic creation and maintenance of employee records – filing, maintaining personal filesBenefits administration to include payroll, Provident Fund, National Pension Fund, Insurance, Gratuity, Leave, Meal Coupons, Car Lease, Health Check, EAP etcEmployee engagement, exit & stay interviews, skip manager meetings and HR awareness sessionsImplement HR policies, stay updated on Policies and market practices and provide feedback, help drawing up policies and processes and their interpretation.Collecting, collating and analyzing the HR related information from peer group companies in India and preparing statistical data in support of HR policy proposalsSupport and advice Spirit Team (employee engagement) activities in the locationAddress employee / manager queries on HR policies, conduct policy awareness sessionsSupport Business Unit Managers on performance improvement plan and Disciplinary processSupport HR Vendor Management and related processesCountry specific HR process advisory
Good team player – good interpersonal and communication skills. Good command of English is a must.Exposure to variety of HR administration functions preferably in a organization which has presence in international countriesGood expertise in MS Office suite including MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.Basic knowledge of modern HR trends and best practices is preferredAbility to analyze problems and propose innovative, creative solutions.Exposure to any HR Information Systems is preferredBasic knowledge of labor law, performance management and disciplinary processes
Graduation in management (Human Resources preferred)Good academic track record1- 3 years HR experience in an Indian / MNC IT company of repute in a generalist and HR administration role.
