At Atlassian, an Employee Services Specialist is a versatile individual who is outward-facing and also internally focused. In this role
You will provide a full range of HR support using the Knowledge Base tool to ensure consistency of responses to employees
You will take ownership of the resolution of employees issues, giving guidance & solving problems at the first point of contact whenever possible
Researching and interpreting company policies and procedures and provide education to employees where necessary
Follows escalation matrix protocols and refer issues to a group of SMEs ensuring effective handoff of escalated cases
Logs and tracks enquiries through to resolution using JIRA system
Meet or exceed performance metrics as defined by the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and tracking system
Surpass exceptional customer service in all facets of the position including responding to employee requests in a professional and respectful manner, understanding the sensitivity and confidentiality of issues
You will navigate Workday and sub-areas in Workday to tackle hr-related concerns
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
You have at least 2 years experience working in HR Shared Services setup
Experience in multiple disciplines in HR
You have a proven experience working with HR Systems
Knowledge of Atlassian products/tools e.g. Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Trello
You are willing to work on flexible hours.

You are a staunch advocate of providing outstanding customer service and hold a strong belief that it should be integrated in HR
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, and all levels of management
Ability to resolve problems, and recommend workaround based on the policies
You maintain a professional demeanour and confidentiality and possesses the ability to think and act independently
