About the role

This role is part of the CSR Services team which is the primary client-facing team for Give Grants’ CSR clients. This team is responsible for supporting corporates throughout their CSR lifecycle and offer services such as CSR strategy, program design, partner identification, KPI mapping, on-ground and tech-backed monitoring and evaluation support.

As an associate in this team, you will be working with the clients and will be required to understand the day-to-day operational tasks pertaining to the overall deliverables for the various stakeholders. This role will also require a good understanding and appreciation of the CSR / impact ecosystem and applicable standards / laws. At Give Grants, we believe in delivering client value through data driven insights and the CSR Services team members also require developing a fair understanding of our tech products.

Responsibilities

1) Assist program delivery

• Understand client’s vision and co-develop the roadmap for adhering to their CSR goals and projects
• Coordination with the client for timely delivery of services as per the scope of work
• Deliver high quality deliverables by regularly engaging with internal teams, NGO partners and the client
• Proactive management of client deliverables as well as internally allocated tasks

2) Provide strategic consulting

• Help clients to design / restructure programs in line with their intent and that delivers real, measurable, sustainable impact.
• Depending on client engagement, undertake secondary research of the CSR / impact landscape to provide insights and trends to the client
• Analyse data from multiple sources and derive actionable insights
• Share data-driven insights to the clients regarding their programs

3) Internal stakeholder management

• Timely raising of internal requests to ensure the overall project plan and objectives are met
• Develop understanding of our tech products, to provide appropriate guidance to client teams

Required Skills and expertise

• Min. 2 – 4 years of experience, preferably with exposure to CSR / development space or equivalent consulting experience
• Domain knowledge of CSR rules & understanding of CSR space in India
• Excellent presentation, and communication skills
• Technical skills: strong presentation skills, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Soft Skills: client communication, project management, relationship building, stakeholder management
• Willingness to effectively work with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
• A bias toward action, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to deliver on tight deadlines
• Good to have skills: Research, data analytics
