Job Description:
The Assistant Manager/Manager – Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of HR functions and activities within the organization. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, as well as the management of various HR-related initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with different functions of HR to promote a positive work culture, employee engagement, and adherence to statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations and Performance Management:
·Implement the Performance Management System in accordance with organizational policies.
·Ensure timely execution of various HR activities for all employee categories, including doctors, executives, and staff members, such as regularization, confirmation, annual increments, and extension orders.
·Issue relevant letters to employees as needed, including transfer letters for department/unit/division changes.
·Study and analyze employee performance and provide recommendations for promotions and additional increments.
·Assist in the preparation of the HR budget and wage settlement processes.
·Maintain and update employees’ personal records, particularly those of senior management and HR personnel.
·Coordinate with payroll/finance for financial advisories related to salary revisions, allowance entitlements, promotions, etc.
·Conduct annual wage surveys for different employee categories to benchmark compensation and benefits.
HR Support and Data Management:
·Participate in departmental quality initiatives and contribute to departmental objectives.
·Collect and support data collection efforts.
·Adhere to hospital safety norms, ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.
·Perform additional tasks and assignments as directed by the superior.
Welfare:
·Coordinate all welfare activities and ensure their timely execution.
·Assist in the implementation of the Annual Welfare Plan.
·Organize monthly employee communication forums and recognize employees based on their service years and honesty awards.
Employee Engagement:
·Identify specific employee engagement interventions through surveys and action plans.
·Develop and adhere to an activity calendar for engagement initiatives.
·Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of employee communication forums.
·Execute and assist in implementing the Annual Welfare Plan and medical benefits.
·Counsel employees, contribute to a better on-boarding experience, and conduct regular committee meetings.
·Collect and support data analysis efforts.
·Perform additional tasks and assignments as directed by the HR Head.
Qualification:
·9-12 years experience post full time MBA
·Preferably from Healthcare industry
·Should be well versed with Oracle HRMS
Job Location: Chennai
Working days: 6 days (Monday to Saturday)
