Role Description
Job Purpose
Ø Develop, customize and maintain software applications – both developed grounds-up as well as packaged solutions using different software tools and technologies to meet the requirements from the user functions. The role is also responsible for learning / exploring new technologies and implementing them into productive use for various business scenarios.

Key Performance Indicators
Ø Carry out the technical design elements of the business / functional requirements and validate the design / architecture with the concerned Executive / Manager
Ø Develop the application as per the technical design
Ø Shadowing of partner’s development team if the project is outsourced
Ø Troubleshooting, debugging of issues and providing resolution
Ø Periodic maintenance activity for application patches and upgrades
Ø Unit / Integration Testing of development artifacts
Ø Training end-users on the application developed / customized
Ø Migration of application / associated data for large migration projects from one technology platform to other
Ø Post-production support
Ø Adherence to KPIs and SLAs for application support
Ø Documentation of design & development work
Ø Quality of delivery
Ø Adherence to timelines for completion of development / maintenance / support activities
Ø Iterative development
Ø Minimum rework
Ø Quick turnaround time from learning to development
