Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AR Caller role based in Mumbai. The AR Caller will be responsible for handling accounts receivable follow-up with U.S. healthcare payers, reviewing outstanding claims, and contacting insurance companies to obtain claim status and resolve denials or payment delays. The role involves documenting all interactions accurately in the billing system, updating claim notes, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams. The AR Caller will collaborate with colleagues in revenue cycle management to ensure timely collections, maintain productivity and quality targets, and adhere to payer guidelines and organizational policies. The position requires working in a structured environment with defined performance metrics and shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in U.S. healthcare revenue cycle or AR calling, including insurance follow-up and denial resolution.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills for engaging with insurance representatives and internal teams.
• UB 04 Hospital Billing experience should be there
• Comfort with working in shift-based, on-site environments and meeting defined productivity and quality goals.
• Basic knowledge of medical billing terminology, payer processes, and claim life cycles (preferred).
• Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office tools, and learning new billing or practice management software.
• Prior experience in a BPO or healthcare process environment is an advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in commerce, business, or healthcare-related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to process changes, and maintain a professional, patient-centric approach.
