About The Role

As a Control Tester in our Control Testing squad, you’ll will support the tribes and technology domains in identifying and assessing controls and maintaining advanced risk management ing to protect shareholders, customers and bankers.

The Controls Testing squad is part of the Assurance and Controls Services tribe within the Technology Assurance domain. The Technology Assurance mission is to ensure end to end technology risks are identified, understood and managed.

What will your day look like?

As a Control Tester, you will:

• Readily apply and share your expertise whilst also be willing to broaden and develop your skillset.
• Have a willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate.
• Have strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships to influence control owners towards uplifting any deficiencies with a proficiency in influencing on the front foot.
• Have an understanding of how to assess controls to protect ANZ information assets, with an opportunity to be involved in assisting with initiatives of improvement across our squad and tribe.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Knowledge of technology risk and information security processes, concepts, and industry standards.
• Understanding of control effectiveness assessment/testing, mitigation techniques and risk ing requirements.
• Ability to perform control tests, and provide relevant feedback/s that are timely and of a quality nature.
• Ability to analyse data to determine root cause of control deficiencies to enable meaningful discussions about control effectiveness with business stakeholders and implement process improvements.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
