Full Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The IT Network Analyst Technician I installs and supports network communications including LAN/WAN systems.
Implements network system solutions and enhancements.Performs management and maintenance of network devices to include upgrades, lifecycle tracking, performance monitoring, and repair/replacement.Works under general supervision and applies network engineering and architecture knowledge on diverse problems where analysis of situation requires in depth evaluation of various factors.Assists in network systems projects.Installs, supports and maintains new network hardware and software infrastructure.Provides network solutions to business and management requirements.Allocates network resources and monitors network performance and usage.Ensures most cost effective and efficient use of network resources.Ensures all IT equipment complies with industry and regulatory standards.Troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves faults in operational networks.Ensures routine preventative maintenance and license compliance is performed.Provides training and technical support for operational programs to assure network and IT systems perform as required.Works closely with the corporate technical services and development staff to assure proper network operations.Demonstrates independent problem solving skillsDemonstrates good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external customersAbility to uphold integrity and confidentiality with access to all information on the network
Minimum Requirements:
Typically, one (1) year of experience in network engineering tasksMust have ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; NACI.
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must have ability to obtain passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred CISCO Professional Certifications (e.g. CCENT, CCNA)
