Full Job Description
Candidate should have prior experience working in the capacity of a Business Analyst. Should have a good understanding of a software development lifecycle. Should have a good understanding of the different artefacts that has to be created in the requirement phase and have an extensive experience creating these said artefacts in the SDLC.
a/ Main Activities
Gather business requirement based on Statement of Requirement (SOR)
Writing functional and UI specification based on requirements
Design UI using MS Visio based on user behaviour and/or wireframes provided.
Deliver specification documents with good quality & according to schedule
Organize specification walkthrough and participate in walkthrough with different stakeholders
Work closely with developers and organize internal specification walkthrough.
Deliver test plans and test scenarios
Test product in order to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity and perform functional sign off.
Follow topics on specification using mails, phone, document etc.
Work with different teams across different location
b/ Functional/Technical competencies
Technical Skill
Should have prior experience working as a Business Analyst.
Good to have experience in travel domain
Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office tools namely Access, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and Word, Lotus Notes, Visual Basic, UML, XML
Technical writing skills
Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques
Ability to formulate concepts
Communication of technical information to a non-technical audience
Communication of business information to a technical audience
Good negotiation skills
