Overview:
Reporting directly to the Director of APJ Partners and Alliances, the Partner Account Manager will support our portfolio solution partners across India , as well as play an important role linking the Alteryx sales organization with key business partners. This is a quota carrying position that requires a strong understanding of the Alteryx platform and our internal resources, such as Salesforce.com, as well as direct and/or channel sales experience.
Responsibilities:
Drive incremental revenue for Alteryx through a portfolio of solution business partners with an established Alteryx practice. Create and maintain strong business relationships with assigned business partners at all levels within the partner including executive, sales, marketing, and operations.
Recruit, onboard and develop committed, capable and scalable channel partners to generate new business in existing accounts and new markets
Develop strong relationships with Alteryx direct sales team and provide them with insight into partnering strategies and best practices as well as the capabilities of your business partners
Plan and execute annual business plan with top partners
Be the expert in policies and structure of Alteryx partner program
Develop deep technical competency on Alteryx solutions within your portfolio of partners
Within your partner portfolio, establish Alteryx as the premier “top of mind” analytics partner, demonstrated by a measurable joint pipeline with the focus partners
Within Alteryx, work closely with sales, marketing and business development leadership to align the go to market (GTM) activities with your partners around specific customers, industries and territories.
Develop and execute GTM plans with each assigned partner including activities of partner initiated opportunity lead registration management, pipeline forecast management and development of joint offerings
Provide consistent partner management support to ensure that our partners are aligning their sales, presales and delivery capabilities in line with Alteryx strategy.
Carry a revenue quota
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the following areas: Alliances, Business Development, Channel and/or Direct Sales, of which a minimum of 5 years must be working in channel development and sales.
Demonstrated ability to intelligently recruit and develop capable, committed and scalable partners
Strategic thinker who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives.
Ability to create thoughtful and compelling business cases highlighting revenue growth opportunities.
Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts.
Demonstrated ability to build significant revenue stream through channel partners
Strong understanding of the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics market space
Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present to all levels of management
Ability to influence functional groups to a shared vision.
Strong enterprise sales background
High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business
Excellent planning and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree or other significant business experience;
