Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall be able to maintain and operate simulator as per standard guidelines
Shall be able trouble shoot failures in simulator including downloading of simulator software
Shall be able to identify failures of networking and trouble shoot
Design’s training aids, prepare technical materials, tests, handouts and lesson plans for training classes and conduct training programs on simulator
Record and analyze training evaluation
Monitor trainee and trainer performance against evaluation criteria/post course performance
Prepares trainee examinations and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom,
Evaluates training effectiveness through appropriate evaluation and post training effectiveness evaluations making modifications to the program design to increase program efficiency
Administer certification/recertification programs as formulated in Training Management plan
Monitor and record employee training status for compliance with Training programs
Participate in the management of the training center
Oversee the training and all required safety orientation for operations & maintenance personnel.
Participates in Alstom management audits, and prepare responses to audit findings concerning training functions.
As appropriate, conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION
Recognized full time degree/diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering.
Must be fluent in English and Hindi.
Must be computer literate (MS Office, MS Projects, etc.)
Basic Networking knowledge
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Total 05 years’ experience in Electric Loco Shed and/or Operating Department of Indian Railways/ Metro Railways
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Simulator Instructor in Zonal Electric Loco Training Center/ Metro Railway
Knowledge of – Locomotive Power Circuit; DJ Control Circuit; Auxiliary Power Circuit; Traction Power Circuit; Pneumatic Circuit; SMGR Circuit etc.
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
Good Communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent Presentation skills.
Knowledge of training and learning methodologies.
Language Skills: Proficient in English language, Hindi
IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
