Lead T&C team for the testing and Commissioning of a CBTC system in metro environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop T&C strategy to lead the execution of the T&C activities.
Direct and lead the activities of all professional and technical staff to follow the strategy in testing and commissioning of the system
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and set up competency development plan for the team
Support On Board team for the Dynamic tests during OB commissioning
Tracking and follow-up with concerned stakeholders for the pending/planned Testing.
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and set up competency development plan for the team
Preparation of Commissioning documents including Commissioning report, RTM etc after completion of T&C activity.
Develop schedules, plans and procedures for testing based on system needs/ progress with support from engineering and specialists as needed. Implement recovery plan and fallback plans to mitigate any impacts to delay the project delivery schedule.
Guide and direct the troubleshooting of problem. Lead the discussion with Engineering and suppliers to analyse the root cause. Coordinate and manage all modification and regression test activities at site.
Relevant experience required –
8-10+ years experience in Signalling with 5+ years in a similar position.
Candidate should be preferably from an ATS/IXL system background.
Should have very sound signalling concepts.
Metro / CBTC Experience will be preferred.
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of Monorail/Metro system is preferred
