Align Technology is looking for a Senior Software Engineer as part of the growing SFDC team in Hyderabad, India. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing applications for the Global Clinical Education team. As a Sr. Software Engineer, the candidate will be a strong contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. You will participate in architecture, design, and implementation of these applications. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience in developing scalable and secure applications.
In this role, you will…
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the point of contact, work with business teams, and design the end-to-end solution.
Develop solutions using Lightning Web Components, Apex, Process Builders, Lightning Flows and other SFDC components.
Understand the different Force.com APIs, then Design and Develop solutions using the appropriate API.
Responsible for design and implementation of integrations of SFDC with other enterprise applications.
Responsible for integrating with Education platforms such as LMS systems, including Docebo, and other home-grown platforms.
Good understanding of object-oriented concepts and programming skills.
Responsible for contributing to and being a champion of SFDC best practices.
Creating documentation on modules/enhancements developed.
Stay abreast of the Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements based on features released.
Work in close collaboration with local and regional commercial teams.
Perform independent code reviews and suggest good practices.
Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus.
Good communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a software engineering experience background, and ability to integrate with systems via REST, SOAP and Webhooks, etc.
A ‘can do’ attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and commercial teams about objectives, requirements, and design constraints.
Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.
An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner.
High level of technical aptitude and ability to learn new technical systems and tools quickly.
In this role, you’ll need …
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience.
Minimum 8 years of overall software development experience, preferably secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Minimum 4+ year’s proven experience in SFDC.
Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com Platform.
Proficiency in Salesforce development (including Apex, Triggers, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs & Lightning Web Components, Java).
Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, etc.
Experience in large scale SFDC implementation including Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.
Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com Platform.
Good understanding of Sales cloud functionalities and process i.e., Lead Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Quote and Contract Management.
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as AutoRABIT.
Experience working in an Agile development methodology using Scrum practices.
