• Collaborate with the Design engineer and EDCI to ensure the quality of the jt BOM originating from the Product Design (iPi) Teamcenter application to the Manufacturing Teamcenter application to be used by Manufacturing Engineering in making visual process plans (VPP)
• Responsible for the data integrity of the Manufacturing Bill of Material (mBOM) that passes from Teamcenter for Manufacturing (VPP) to the Enterprise Resource Planning system (Mach 1)
• Initiate effort between Engineering and IT to interface sales model information through PLMSync and mBOM Utility
• Work closely with product engineers to provide timely release and implementation of new models, major product updates and miscellaneous changes
• Execute the end to end Bill of Material process
• Participate with all Mach 1 process areas to ensure the end to end quality of the Manufacturing Bill of Material, which ensures accurate supply chain and plant production execution
• Collaborate with the Global Change Coordinator to extend material into SAP
• Extend all plant specific material to facility
• Control SAP Change Master Number effectivity dates for Product Design changes
• Review new model introduction product model structures with NPI teams and related groups
• Serve as an integral member of the NPI and CPPD teams influencing the product model structures to minimize differences between the released eBOM and mBOM thereby minimizing the proliferation of manufacturing only part numbers
• Create, maintain, and communicate accurate change management data at both the local and corporate level through data entry in management information systems including the Engineering Data System (EDS) and SAP
• Collaborate with Material Master Owner, Variant Configuration team, BOM Managers, Local Process Planners, Logistics Planning Engineers, Supply Chain Material Planners, NPI team members to provide timely release and implementation of new and changed Change Masters
• Work effectively with diverse, cross-functional groups in order to execute the Material Master Process by understanding the integrated nature of SAP
• Manage the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others
