Summary of Position:
Alcon is looking to hire a Key Account Executive at Chandigarh . This position is responsible for Meeting / exceeding the sales expectations in the accounts assigned in their territory. Achieve value and volume growth of products and establish good customer relations in the key accounts. Implement the sales and marketing plans /schemes along with special plan of action for the accounts to meet the sales target. Provide value addition for the company’s image with the account and make sure that collections are done in a timely manner for the sales done. Achieving sales in assigned accounts is critical in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality service to internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding organizational Values at all times
Develop the business form accounts assigned to achieve maximum sales and implement POA /activities to sell maximum number of Alcon Products at these accounts.
To know functional and technical product knowledge of the surgical business.
Send in Daily work reports in Salsa and other reports that maybe required of him/her.
Constant Competitor activity feedback to maintain a competitive advantage.
Effectively manage the development of the accounts assigned and make sure that the outstanding are collected on time.
Support after sales service to the accounts through products and services.
Work in OR to promote Alcon products.
Implement the pricing strategy /policy/discounts to get maximum sales.
Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative.
Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self .
Financial Objectives:
To keep the outstanding from the distributors as agreed per norms- Through the periodic reports from Parekh on the outstanding of the parties.
Ensure India Marketing Programs, Strategies & Tactics are effectively implemented, monitored and managed-Through the execution of our Regional Marketing/Country programs, training strategies & tactics that effectively grow brands through activity based management focus and planned Share of Voice activities.
Qualitative Salsa Implementation & Monitoring via COGNOS BI Tools/Consistent FVR reporting – The use of Salsa will also be a focal point with concentration on “activity management” (planned versus actual). Measurement will be done on coverage/frequency/Plan of Action grid adherence planned vs. achieved on the ACE dashboard besides regular and consistent reporting.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science /Engineering.
Minimum 4 years selling experience in relevant / Ophthalmology field
Proficient in English
Work hours: As per field schedule.
Travel Requirements: Domestic only ( 50 -70%)
