Job description:
· Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
· Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
· Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
· Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
· Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
· Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
· Make sure the rooms and other area are regularly cleaned.
· Respond to customer complaints and queries on a timely basis.
· Ensure all the rules are being followed properly.
Experience & Skilled required:
· Proven experience of working as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeperor a similar role in the Hospitality/ Hotel Industry
· Excellent team management skills.
· Should be willing to work for different shifts as and when required.
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
· Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
· Outstanding problem-solving skills.
· Hard-working individual.
· Strong decision-making skills.
· Understands the principles behind providing excellent customer service to guests or patients.
· Working knowledge of housekeeping.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
