Ø Minimum experience required: (0-2yrs)
Preferred experience: (1-2yrs)
– Experience of counseling amputees for a suitable upper limb prosthesis.
– Prior knowledge & experience in fabricating upper extremity prostheses (especially myoelectric hand prosthesis sockets).
– Prior knowledge of workshop materials & inventory system.

Must have pre-requisite knowledge:
Sound understanding of human anatomy, amputation levels, biomechanical principles, post-surgical stump care protocols, prosthetic fundamental principles, O&P user assessment & clinical prescription planning, measurement techniques, stump-shape capturing procedures for varied levels of amputation, mould rectifications, prosthetic components & material selection as per the user & prosthesis requirements, prosthesis & socket fabrication, prosthetic alignment, suspension systems, various socket designs & technologies, check-out procedures, patient documentation, workshop & clinical work-safety protocols, ADL training protocols.
Job description:
– Conduct user/patient assessment.
– Laying down an ethical prosthetic prescription.
– Conducting casting procedures & mould rectifications.
– Monitoring, assisting, & guiding the O&P technician during socket draping or lamination while aligning & assembling the prosthetic components.
– Conducting prosthetic check-out procedures & user ADL training.
– Ensuring optimal user satisfaction & safety by handling/addressing/troubleshooting/resolving any pre/peri/post-fitment patient/user doubts or issues.
– Tracking, anticipating, & timely reporting about the workshop material/component inventory or any other clinical workflow-related obstacles to the management.
– Following and abiding by the necessary clinical & workshop safety protocols.
– Meeting the assigned/desirable workflow timelines.
– Reading portfolio component user instruction manuals, staying updated on their safe usage & fabrication compliance, warranty terms, etc.
– Coordinating with HOD, office manager, & technician to ensure smooth clinic operations.

10:00 am – 6:30 pm
Saturday:
11:00 am – 5:00 pm
