Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers.
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors that facilitate smooth flow of services.
Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress.
Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.
Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals.
Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
Assisting and practicing Health & safety measurement in compliance with company’s HSE policy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar field.
Good command of English, written and spoken. Microsoft Proficiency.
Candidates preferable from similar industry.
Should be comfortable travelling to Saki Vihar, Andheri.
