BTech, BE (ECE) or any degree related to Systems /Computers; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 5+ years of experience in automation using advanced macro / VBA development, Power Query and Power BIExpertise in advanced excel capabilities, including power query, pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, advanced level calculations on the data setStrong knowledge in MS Access and SQL along with exposure to MS Power Apps /Power automateExperience is maintaining source code repository (Ex: Github, BitBucket)Ability to lead projects independently, document project plans/milestones/project activities performedBuilding project requirements and spec – providing & adhering to timelines and highlight progress and gaps if not completedShould have accomplished projects based on Time Saving, Cost Saving, Quality Improvement and Full-proof mechanismsExcellent spoken & written language capabilities in English along with proven expertise in interacting with all levels of the management with ease.

About Amazon Centralized Timekeeping (CTK)
The vision of the Centralized Timekeeping team is to utilize top talent to streamline time and attendance data entry, reduce payroll defects and provide consistently high service levels. CTK will support and manage time and attendance matters for thousands of Amazon Employees. As a member of CTK-Automation team, you will be at the forefront of transformational technology streamlining & automating the Operations teams’ efforts to our global employees. About the role:
The Macro Specialist opportunity is a hybrid role that entails consulting, effective customer-facing communication, and hands-on technical capabilities. As an Automation Expert you are responsible for building a robust set of operational and business metrics, working with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy the reporting systems, building macro-based automation, and utilize metrics to determine improvement opportunities. You will also be responsible for monitoring key success metrics, identifying business metrics that assess risk and challenges, collaboratively shape solutions with the team. You will work on projects which require automation of certain processes by building scalable tools. In this role, you are expected to work closely with your peers, Operations, Solutioning & Product teams to understand the requirement and translate them in to scalable tools.

You will be involved in various projects from diversified functions & regions to automate processes and develop dashboards.
Development and maintenance of Excel Macros/ VBA Scripts to efficiently automate daily tasks and reporting.Collaborate with Operations, PMO & the design teams to plan, develop and deliver projects.Remain in-the-know of the key business processes, service offerings, and methodology & provide hands-on advanced project management and support for multiple projects across numerous functional and technical units within the Design Team utilizing PMO standard tools, processes, and methods.Developing visual reports, customized charts & calculations, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop / Tableau, Excel Macros etc.Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.Work with users and team members at all level for performance improvement and suggestionsCreate multi-level reports from the same data to serve multiple stakeholders with minimum manual re-workIdentify the gaps in the day-to-day processes with the colleagues who are spending more time in manual efforts and recommend and build automated solutionsAnalytical mindset with a problem-solving approachCertifications on the subject knowledge is an added advantageProven expertise in Data Visualization techniques, conflict management, decision making and critical thinkingGenuinely excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling Macro based automationDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception through production & stabilization
