This purpose of this ROLE is:
Work in a team of professionals to continuously improve, automate, upgrade and extend the systems infrastructure underlying our cloud payments platform in a challenging high-availability, high-performance, high-scalability, and high-security real-money payments environment.

with your colleagues, make it your own responsibility to keep our system up and scaling for our customers, including monitoring the system and taking part in an on-call rotation, and to keep us ahead of the curve

A Typical day at ACI for Sr. Software Engineer (DevOps) is:
You have a minimum 6-8 years of experience in designing and developing distributed software systems with a focus on scalability and high-availability.

You have hands-on experience with Jenkins,Ansible, Kubernetes, Vault and ContainersYou have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.You have experience with Agile development methodologies.You can communicate efficiently and effectively in English.Experience in a financial software development environment would be a plus.In general, you are self-motivated, dynamic, creative, flexible, and a fast learner.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

6+ years of previous experience in designing, implementing and/or operating systems with a focus on scalability and high-availability.

Micro-services architecture and concepts (containers, orchestration tools, cloud infrastructure – e.g. Azure)

Experience with docker and Kubernetes as must have (I would say OpenShift as nice to have)

Experience with setting up K8 cluster, micro-services deployment, and integration with other frameworks/tools

Previous experience in designing and/or implementing systems with a focus on scalability and high availability

Experience with configuring and troubleshooting development and production environments.
