Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience of which at least 2-3 years in similar role in an international Luxury Hotel experience
Excellent verbal and written communication; analytical and reasoning skills; well versed with problem solving techniques.
Strong Leadership abilities and organizational skills
Able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/synergies
Go-getter; comfortable taking ownership of projects and expanding scope of responsibilities.
Dynamic and result oriented
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
What you will be doing:
Plan, design and deliver quality led training plans ensuring that newly appointed team members are fully trained to Pullman & Novotel standards.
Accountable for employee training, including new-hire orientation, specialty training and health and safety training.
Audit, evaluate and report on on-job department training for quality and effectiveness
Create a learning culture and develop a quality improvement framework
Ensure that all quality issues are reported and that appropriate follow up occurs
Networking and building relationships within the wider L&D professionals, particularly within the Hospitality Industry.
Initiate, coordinate, deliver and follow-up on all training activities within the hotel
Conduct annual training needs analysis and coordinate with department managers to help identify training opportunities for their team members
Update and maintain accurate records of training activities and participant information
Maintain an ongoing Training Calendar to ensure learning resources and opportunities are maximized
