You will be working as Sales Manager- Cluster Head, reporting to Sales Manager for Electrification Business Area for Smart Power Division based in Faridabad. You will be responsible to plan and ensure execution of Division, Business Unit or Product Group sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way.
Your responsibilities
- Establish sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
- Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area, determine plans for acquisition and allocate resources.
- Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitor and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.
- Support the development of strong relationships with key customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensure efficient marketing communications.
- Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participate on negotiations of key contracts and manage ongoing costs.
- Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Should have minimum 15 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development.
- Strong experience in tendering, bidding and quotation preparations for Low voltage switchgear projects.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally.
