ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Role
To control accounting, financial and commercial functions of Business Unit (Winter Logistics)
Looking for Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years experience
Responsibilities :
Supervise and manage all aspect of accounting for the company
Develop in conjunction with the Vertical CFO, maintain, and monitor efficient and effective financial processes, policies and systems,
Provide timely and accurate financial reports
Ensure the process of budgeting, weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts are adhered to. Continuously monitor variances against the same and proactively advise the business and take steps to deliver better than forecasts and budget.
Continuously monitor all the performance measures of the BU including debtors, cash flows, loan indicators including undertaking remedial action where required.
Be a co pilot to the CEO in driving the business and business performance, Assist CEO in assessing organizational performance against both annual budget and company’s long term strategy.
Develop tools & systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendation on both strategy and operations.
Actively contribute to the contract negotiation process with customers and suppliers including wage negotiations, analyze the financial implications of the commercial terms agreed with customers.
Provide insurance, legal and taxation advice to management, including consulting with relevant advisers in conjunction with the Vertical CFO
Keep in safe custody all original contracts and agreements entered between the party and company
Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards including but not limited to revenue realization, costs, cash, and assets
Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed
Manage foreign exchange exposure of the company, if applicable
Identify the areas of cost control implement suitable steps for cost reduction and cost control.
Actively participate in cost management and value improvement plan issues on a day to day basis to ensure all CAPEX projects are implemented within timelines and approved cost.
To comply with all aspects of company’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environment management systems
Requirements:

Minimum 10-12 years’ post qualification experience, some of which preferably gained in a large logistics management environment / multinational operations
Good Presentation & communication skills .
Decision making skills
Master’s Degree
