Job Responsibilty
Partner with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) within the enterprise customer segment to help manage our Request for Proposal (RFP) Process. This position must work closely with sales, field solution architects, and product teams to update and help maintain the Qualys tool for centralized RFP responses. This is a technical role that requires knowledge of Qualys products and enterprise security domains such as: vulnerability management, patch management, threat detection & response, compliance, containers, and cloud and application security.
Description
Typical Duties:
Work with field sellers on the development and delivery of proposals that clearly demonstrate the differentiated value of the Qualys platform
Support RFP technical product responses, take ownership for ensuring technical questions are followed up on.
Assist with upload and curation of RFP documents into Qualys RFP tool
Assist with support of TAM’s and Product Managers access to the Qualys RFP tool
Work with Product Management, Solution Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to curate and review RFP response entries in the Qualys RFP tool library.
Work on updating and editing data for Qualys Proof of Concept/Value documents that are also published and maintained by the same RFP tool
Collaborate with Qualys marketing to update various diagrams and images for use in the Qualys RFP tool
Constantly learn and stay on top of the latest developments in the Qualys portfolio and in the larger security and compliance ecosystem
Required Skills:
Self-starter who has a “can-do” attitude and passion for leveraging technology to solve business problems in the security and compliance domain
Strong communicator in English – written and verbal
Attention to details and deadlines, must be able to work across teams and look for the right answer
Experience with Qualys or other security and compliance platforms as a practitioner, technical seller, sales engineer, or customer success architect
Solid understanding of asset management, patching, vulnerability management, policy compliance and configuration management, cloud and application security, and threat detection
Working knowledge of popular public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
