We are hiring for the position of “Logistics & Supply Chain Manager” for a Food Mfg. Company in the Bangalore location.

Department: Logistics & Supply Chain

Experience – 7-12 Yrs

Qualification: – Graduate/MBA

Role &Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery to our external costumer as per schedule.
• Reduce the existing cost of transportation.
• Asses the existing practices and design & implement best industrial practices to smoothen the logistics activities.
• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with existing transportation and logistics providers.
• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
• Proper Scheduling of the route wise supply.
• Coordination with Sales team.
• Coordination with production team for proper supply of FG.
• Coordination and satisfies the need of the external customer’s
• Reduce the waiting period of the vehicle after arriving at plant.
• To maintain harmonious relation with the local bodies and authorities to avoid any issues regarding the transportations.
• Route planning to properly supply as per the requirements of the costumer.
• Optimization the available resources.
• Cost optimization & Crate Management.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
• Ensure accurate labelling to ensure correct items/finished items reach correct customers at the correct time.
