Description and Requirements
Market & Competitive Intelligence- Staff Tech Research Analyst
Scope of Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and executing competitive and market intelligence of BMC Competitors.
Monitor competitor trends including changes and developing a regular cadence of reporting and company-wide briefings to instill awareness
You will keep Track and create awareness about latest market trends and opportunities for the organization.
Manage global programs for create awareness, launching programs, feedback from stakeholders and more
Proactively summarize and distribute key relevant secondary market research from vendor subscriptions (e.g., IDC, Gartner, Forrester, etc.)
Publish on-going updates on market conditions to track company progress and periodically validate the total addressable market sizing for specific go-to-market verticals, nascent markets, or use-cases
Actively leverage relevant sources of information (websites, analyst reports, webinars, win/loss reports, etc.) for useful competitive & market intelligence
Regularly and proactively communicate market intelligence information internally, and act as a go-to source for market intelligence and analysis.
Skills and Experience:
8-10 years of relevant experience in Competitive Research
2 – 3 years of experience in creating and managing global programs.
BBA/MBA in Marketing from a reputed institute
Minimum 8 years industry experience in Cloud, ITSM & ITOM.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines
Excellent business writing skills
Strong English oral communication and presentation skills
Solid understanding of systems infrastructure software/IT operations management markets and competitive environment
Tolerance for ambiguity and multiple overlapping deadlines
Ability to work independently, scope projects and drive them to conclusion
Ability to see and communicate coherent strategic insights from incomplete and contradictory data sets.
