The Product Owner is the key business representative for helping to translate business requirements into functional designs that meet the needs of the global sectors within the End2End process framework.
Scope:
The Product Owner must work with stakeholders in the Business, IT, and Partners to ensure the build and deployment of working applications while helping to meet project scope, cost, and timeline requirements.
Purpose of the team:
The Solution Delivery Capability team tasked with the design, build and validation of software systems that implement the Philips Business System (PBS) elements for Solution Delivery. The team contributes to the Solution Delivery program by providing best in class systems and other PBS elements for the areas that have been identified as under Solution Delivery Epic/Features
Purpose of the role:
Responsible for the design & development of future systems and Philips Business System (PBS) elements related to ‘Solution Delivery’, according to the defined Strategic Business Requirements (SBRs). Collaborate with the Capability Leader, Product Owners, and Business Process Experts, providing content to the releases and ensuring timely deliverables to deploy during the lead market and further hand over for mass deployment. Active participate within the Agile Scrum teams, participating in design, development and software validation of the team deliverables. Manages overall solution design dependencies with other projects.
Owns the translation of Business Requirements into buildable Stories
Work with assigned BPEs and their Design Reference Group (DRG) teams to understand the Business Processes that form the basis for the Features that serve as input to Design Factories
Attend Design Factories and collaborate with the BPEs and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the authoring of stories, driving the determination of ‘How’ (User Stories) from the ‘What’ (Business Processes and Features)
Own all stories and their content in assigned process areas, representing them and their underlying business requirements as they are designed and built in later stages.
Contribute to the creation of Training Materials
Drive stories thru the governance processes for design and customization approvals
Represent the Business to the System Release Team
Attend Solution Factory and describe business requirements as represented in Features and Stories
Participate with the System Release Team in ongoing backlog preparation activities
Represent the Business to the scrum team
Participate in Release Planning Session (RPS)
Participate in Story Refinement
Participate in Sandbox Demos
Participate in Acceptance Demos
Answer questions and clarify Business Requirements with the scrum team
Represent the Project to the larger Philips community
Participate in social media discussions with our user community
Schedule Demos with Stakeholders
Provide Status updates to Stakeholders – Newsletters, Service Cloud Council, etc.
