Full Job Description
As a senior support analyst, the person would be responsible for managing production support projects within MIT mainly for ESG domain.
The person must be experienced with minimum 6 years of handling and managing production support engagements for ESG and financial services clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily Production Support functions for suite of applications. He/She will work on and ensure that all incidents related to the supported applications are resolved in a timely manner. The resource will ensure functioning of the production environment with the view to maintain stability and control.
Proven ability of working into AWS support engagements and provide leadership in a fast paced onsite/Offshore environment
Qualifications
L1/L2/L3 troubleshooting support for internal and external web applications
Implement processes to maintain applications systems in production environment with controlled evaluation of any downtime
Help to manage timely resolution or escalation of incidents within the environment.
Understand the global and local impact across teams to manage application interdependencies
Must be able to communicate the impact and solutions of application/system problems in business language
Work closely with other IT teams such as Vendor, Development, Network, Security and Systems to investigate for the root cause analysis
Maintain & build standard and documentation for all environments.
Ensuring that the requirement for change to applications is fully understood and that the planned work is completed
Provision of adequate cover as defined in the SLA’s over the required support hours (this may vary according to the application)
To articulate, report and communicate effectively with Clients on incidents/problems
Ability to perform in-depth Analysis of Incidents/problems to identify Root cause and Permanent Fixes.
Conversant with Agile methodologies
Should be able to work independently and also proficient in Team Handling
Should possess sound knowledge of Tools like JIRA ,Git
Desired Skills:
Previous experience on an IT Application support team that provided front line technical support to end users responding to issues related to Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Application Monitoring, Production Governance related to issues
Bachelor of Engineering from reputed university / institute
