We are looking for an energetic Load Dispatcher to be part of our growing logistics business. She / he must be a self-starter with strong work ethic. Should be able negotiate with freight brokers and customers to ensure trucks in our network are moving freight at the best possible rates. Load Dispatcher is responsible for finding loads, negotiating the rate, booking the load, then coordinating with the driver throughout the load to ensure prompt and successful delivery.

Reporting To : Founder / Business head.

Work Mode : Full Time/ Remote

Responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate with customers, freight / trucking companies and driver owners to match loads with trucks efficiently.

• Load booking and driver coordination until successful delivery.

• Schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customer locations.

• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.

• Forecasts customer needs and proactively ensures service without failures.

• Maintains customer expectations of sourcing and on-time deliveries.

• Identify potential delivery issues related to traffic, weather, allocation, and driver availability to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.

• Communicate regularly with / update customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, special handling requests and / or any changes.

• Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.

• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.

• Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.

• Collaborates with suppliers to work through allocation & supply challenges.

• Constantly verify / update the status of the capacity and specification in your driver fleets to understand your coverage options prior to orders coming into the system.

• Reviewing drivers’ logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times.

• Creating necessary Load Dispatch reports for management.

• Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues

Skills/Qualification

• Candidates with experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics / Transportation operations, Carrier Relations, Carrier Procurement, Freight Broker and/or Carrier Sales will have an advantage.

• Must have excellent command on spoken and written English language with neutral accent if not American.

• Candidates who worked with North American Clients in a B2B Sales environment will have an advantage.

• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task.

• Must have a go-getter mentality, eager to learn, and business oriented.

• Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Flexible to work in time zone assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree /High School Diploma.

Requirements

• Laptop/PC with minimum of 8GB of RAM with working Camera, speakers and microphone / headset.

• High Speed Internet with minimum of 50MBPS.

• Dedicated workspace in a conducive atmosphere.

Salary / Remuneration:

• Base salary between Rs.18,000 to Rs.28,000/- per month based on relevant experience and skills.

• Negotiable for exceptional candidates.

• Opportunity for substantial commission-based bonus above base salary
