This role is within OGS, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses Operational Excellence team, which is responsible managing various projects and global initiatives for Optum Global Solutions. we are looking for individuals who have the ability to solve for specific business problems (through technical, analytical as well as change management skills). We are looking to solve for challenging problems that can define industry trends in the Healthcare industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to drive business transformation: Creation, execution, governance on a roadmap for the account- elements to include improvement on end user metrics, efficiency metrics, stakeholders’ business priorities
Projects execution and mentoring: lead/facilitate Enterprise-wide transformation projects, measure and validate project results, and facilitate successful implementation of all facets of process improvements or changes identified (need strong change management skills along with analytical thinking and LSS methodology knowledge)
Process redesign and process reengineering to incorporate latest technologies and automations from inception
Collaborate with Operations teams to enable stable/ Zero surprise operations: defining appropriate metrics to gage processes performance, providing insights to critical operations
Customer and stakeholder management on an ongoing basis
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
MBA – ISB / IIM
Relevant certifications from a recognized institute
4 – 8 year experience
Project management experience
End to End project Lifecycle management
Strong communication skills – Familiar with US managed healthcare
Strong presentation skills
Stakeholder management
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare background – with experience in dealing with nurses and Doctors
Good analytical and communication skills
Good cross-functional understanding
