Full Job DescriptionIn this position, you will provide telephone support to
assist customers and field staff with the installation,
configuration, and performance tuning of the Windchill
family of Product Data Management (PDM) and Product
Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Responsibilities
will include:
Assisting customers and field staff with the
configuration, administration, and general functionality of
Windchill web application solutions.
Developing expert communication skills and a technical
understanding of Windows and UNIX Operating Systems,
as well as Internet technologies such as Web Servers,
Servlet Engines,Directory Services, etc.
Creating software configurations, duplicating issues, and
troubleshooting technical problems, and tracking the
resolution of those problems with other PTC departments
as well as with the customer. Ideal candidates will also
possess the following:
Strong communication and customer service skillsDemonstrated motivation to learn new skills and
technologies
Prioritization skillsStrong computer skillsExperience with Windows and UNIX Operating SystemsExperience / exposure to Internet and/or Network
infrastructure technologies (Web servers, network
security, etc.)
Experience / exposure to relational database
technologies (Oracle, MS SqlServer, etc.)
IT Admin experience (System, network, and/or database
administration)
Experience / exposure to Java and/or other software
programming languages is a plus
Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or similar fields
Language Skills:
Fluent in English-
