About Wells Fargo India
Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Operations, Risk, Audit, Process Excellence, Automation and Product, Analytics and Modeling. We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.
Department Overview:
This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring compensation, benefits & performance management (PM) programs for the organization
About the role:
Consults with all levels of management regarding current and future compensation needs. Assignments are received in the form of objectives. Time is split between management and personal consulting. Develops and implements compensation programs to ensure compensation requirements are met in accordance with internal policy and governmental requirements. Develops compensation budgets as necessary. Reviews existing and proposed compensation & benefit laws and regulations and takes or recommends corrective action.
Responsibilities
Manage the day to day activities in India including:
Market Pricing
Structuring Offers
Creating Analytics and Insights
Partners with HR management and Senior Leadership across the business to develop base pay and incentive compensation programs;
Partners with the broader International Total Rewards team to drive compensation projects across I&P
Serves as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on the most complex compensation matters. Reviews existing and proposed statutory compensation requirements and recommends appropriate course of action;
Reviews and recommends new or revised job classifications. Assists the business with the creation and definition of new positions and determines market competitive compensation levels;
Collaborates and networks across the organization including, but not limited to, recruiting, compliance, risk, finance, audit and legal;
Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results;
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
8+ year’s compensation, accounting, finance or human resource experience with 6+ years leadership experience.
Strong business acumen, detail oriented, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Expert strategic, analytical, conceptual problem-solving skills, and at managing multiple clients and projects
Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills
