WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an IT HR Senior Integrations Developer in BCG’s HR Systems team, you will have overall technical responsibility for design, development and technical support of global HR applications. You will work with a team of internal and external developers, as well as a cross-functional team consisting of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and others to provide high quality applications which respond to and meet the business needs of the entire BCG organization. You will be expected to provide technical guidance, oversight and coordination of development resources to successfully execute project and support tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Core-HR Applications Lead, work with the HR organization in the planning and execution of application development projects.
Design, develop and maintain integrations with Workday.
Have overall responsibility for the health of the core HR applications, in terms of quality of the program code and operational effectiveness, from a technical standpoint.
Plan and execute releases, making sure all deployment and rollback steps are documented & tested, and plans are coordinated & communicated appropriately
Work closely with software vendors in the planning and design of application changes (including upgrades) and coordinating on delivery and deployment processes.
Maintain integrations between tools, with an emphasis on optimizing performance and enforcing single source of truth design principles.
Troubleshoot reported support tickets and provide timely analysis and resolution.
Stay abreast of current development tools, trends and practices, and act as an evangelist for items that should be considered for future initiatives.
Participate in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Education
College degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in application development, or equivalent mix of education and experience
Experience/Knowledge
Strong expertise in Workday Integrations and implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields and Workday Studio).
Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
Technical experience with Document Transform and XLST.
Experience in Workday core HR business processes and Workday Security preferred.
Experience in BIRT(Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool) and Tableau a plus.
Workday Pro Certification a plus.
Expertise in Microsoft ASP.NET/MVC, C# and WCF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and XML/XSL is a plus.
Background knowledge in database design and development, particularly with Oracle and/or SQL Server
Good understanding of source control systems and procedures, TFS a plus
Experience working with external application development providers
Understanding of SCM tools and practices, experience with Team Foundation Server desired
Experience in estimating, planning and technical management of application development projects or significant pieces of projects.
Understanding of unit testing tools and frameworks (e.g. NUnit, MSTest, Moq, etc.)
Familiarity with SSRS/SSIS a plus
Prior experience working with HR applications a plus, but not required
