Function Description: Colleague & Labor Relations (CLR)
WHAT WE DO
Manage escalated workplace complaints/grievance, investigate, and resolve people treatment and other colleague affecting issues
Provide support and guidance in interpreting Colleague Experience Group policies and practices
People Leaders
Provide guidance and support for performance-related counseling and conduct related disciplinary actions
Deploy CLR training to increase leadership effectiveness in managing difficult workplace situations
Business
Develop CLR solutions for business transformation initiatives and manage the consultation/severance processes
Support negotiations and development of labor agreements, developing strategies to address ongoing labor activity
Own decision-making authority for policies that govern the terms and conditions of employment

The Colleague & Labor Relations team focuses on providing advice and support to colleagues and people leaders to resolve workplace issues, develop and interpret policies, and help manage employee conduct and performance.

Responsibilities:
This role is very niche and requires subject matter expertise and experience in Colleague & Labor Relations.
Listed below are the key roles & responsibilities to be handled by the individual that are critical for the success of the team, and will enable to appropriate Colleague and Labor Relations to colleague support in the market:
Conduct Grievance Investigations under the Grievance and Complaints Procedure and under the India based policies abided by local laws and regulations.
Timely response to CEG queries via colleague service center and direct CLR email inbox and provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of the employment relationship
Regular review and update of CEG policies and procedures as the need arise and if any change in market regulation comes into effect.
Understand, interpret and analyze changes in India Employment Law in order to develop proactive solutions whilst maintaining CEG compliances effectively.
Partner with the business in driving Organizational Restructuring

Past Experience
5-8 years preferably in Employee Relations, Grievance Handling, Compliances, Organizational restructuring
Academic Background
Post-graduation – MBA HR
