Full Job DescriptionThe incumbent would support the technology management portfolio of the TTS Payments & Receivables (P&R) of Citi India franchise.
In terms of coverage, the project manager has to manage a set of local applications and act as point of contact for any regional, global initiatives covering TTS franchise in India. In terms of business and operation’s footprint, the application coverage is spread across 25 branches and 350+ third party locations and close to 800+ users across locations.
Act as technology frontend to the India TTS P&R business and Operations partners
Participate in project discussions with relevant stake holders throughout the lifecycle of an IT project
Ensure CITI compliant software project management standards are followed for each projects undertaken
Preparation of Project plans from low – high level projects
Financial know how of each project and milestone and reporting of financials spend bi-weekly
Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
Maintain pristine control of Citi application used in third party locations. Maintain vendor governance standards
Set directions to the development team to get the deliverables adhere to standard programming methodologies and techniques and contribute in the technical discussions.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow and comply to project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps
Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications
Ensure application administrative documents are up to date in the Citi systems
Active contribution to common objectives in TTS Technology such as Engineering Excellence.
Provide management support and guidance during the COB drills. Ensure successful failover of the systems as per the defined RTO/RPO
Liaise with in-country , regional and global partner and work collaboratively to deliver medium to large sized projects
Work on budgeting process and ensure that the projects are delivered in time with the given budget.
Have good Vendor management skills. Ensure completion of contract agreements and work orders in timely manner.
Follow Release management and Change Governance process to manage changes in the system.
Work as individual contributor and Team player based on project requirements
Work on “end of support” and planned Hardware upgrades
Broadcast Project status weekly to key stakeholders. Highlight / Escalate Risks, Issues, Concerns
Work with Production support teams to understand, analyze & resolve issues as & when required
Qualifications
Experience & Skills (Must Have):
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields
At least 5+ years of experience working as an IT project management , IT Delivery in a medium to large enterprise
Experience in handling mission critical systems particularly in the Banking and Financial services domain.
Experience and sound knowledge on database management systems and Distributed architecture.
Experience in managing end to end of the Software Development life cycle using industry standard methodologies
Deep understanding of Two Tier, Three Tier and Service Oriented Architecture designs.
Experience in source code management using industry standard version control management tools
Good understanding and experience working in Windows / MSSQL Server and Microsoft development platform.
Good understanding and experience working in Linux / Oracle platforms.
Good knowledge on Middleware tools such as IBM MQ, NDM etc.
Desired Expertise:
Advanced understanding of software test methodologies and testing tools
Strong understanding of OO development, Interface-based Software Architecture, Design Patterns
Strong fundamentals in data structures, caching, multithreading, messaging and asynchronous communication
Exposure to technology development projects and the full technology development lifecycle
Ability to write and review documentation
