ERP SAP Application Management SME / ERP SAP Project and Service Manager
As part of the Global ERP SAP Application Support team, you will be responsible to drive improvements in global SAP Application Management Services, define new service models and service roadmap, lead projects and change initiatives in support of the IT & Digital and overall business strategy and manage the budget administration.
You should have good knowledge of Application Lifecycle management, large scale service management for multiple-suppliers and solid understanding of Agile ways of working to effectively improve & scale existing services performance. You will provide overall leadership for transitioning projects, delivering enhancements and maintenance of the existing applications using Agile and DevOps methodologies.
According to Operations, ongoing initiatives and project needs, your accountabilities will be:
As project manager, lead interdisciplinary project team with multi-dimensional sub-team structures of Syngenta experts and external partners. Understand and drive solution delivery as a combination of business impact, process or operational optimization and IT tools.
Own IT SAP AMS operational processes mainly incident, problem, change management and act as SME for operational squads and other stakeholders.
Involved in Service Reviews with the service providers for assessing the performance of the services against the Operational SLA and KPIs.
Leveraging existing data sources, dashboards and tools to continuously improve the service process efficiency, Squad ways of working and overall user experience.
Support new and ongoing global initiatives and projects related to ERP at various stages, either during business case creation, initialization, execution or transition.
Provide leadership/ guidance to Projects for smooth and sustainable transition into Agile-DevOps based steady state operations, includes support model set-up, deliverables, and supplier engagement.
Translating the Service Objectives into operational parameters (SLA and KPIs), set-up systems and tools to capture and report metrics.
Hands-on reporting and dashboard creation in Service Now.
ERP SAP Applications Portfolio and 3rd party budget management with periodic reporting to ERP LT and Finance.
Supplier contract creation, updates and spend tracking with respect to overall budget
Communicate and Coordinate between multiple IT stakeholders and suppliers in an effective way to enable fast and highly reliable delivery.
Relevant Experience and skills required for the job:
10-12 years of IT experience of which 4-5 years in an SAP Application/ Service Delivery management role.
3-5 years working experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid IT delivery projects.
3-5 years working experience in IT service and/or technology delivery, quality management, planning, operations, and strategy development.
In-depth understanding of in Application Managements/ Operational process and setting-up new Operating models.
Track record of managing diverse and dispersed teams including external suppliers in a multi supplier setup.
Experience in client facing and 3rd party vendor engagement, coordination and escalation management.
Experience of working in matrix organization with cross-functional teams, working across countries and cultures to achieve expected results.
Hands-on experience in Service Now reports and dashboard configuration is advantage.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with a collaborative attitude, proactive and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to think out of box and come up with innovative solutions.
Ability to lead, be self-directed and/or work independently or as part of a team.
A self-starter who is motivated to take ownership of projects and drive task to completion.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate with various levels in the organization is a must.
Qualifications
Minimum education and critical knowledge required for the job
Relevant academic degree and/or 10+ years of professional experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in informatics, computer science, engineering or technical relate degree
Expert in IT service and/or technology delivery, quality management, operations and strategy development
Mastery of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles & operational processes
Working experience and knowledge in SAP ECC (and or S/4) and AWS would be advantage
Certification in steady state operational models and Project Management (e.g.: ITIL, DevOps, SaFE, PMP, MSP) is desirable
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 suite, Microsoft Projects
